Yard Resort Wedding

June started with an amazing wedding that I would love to share with you. By the way – the couple probably is not aware of it, but their booking and trust in my services gave me a lot of positive energy during my recovery from the surgery last autumn. So thank you, Martin and Eva, for I am truly happy that I joined you for your wedding day.

Initially, we met before Christmas and it felt like a gathering of some old friends… We had the same vision of the day and from that moment I felt this is going to be THE wedding.

We met again one week before the wedding for a short pre-wedding session. The photo-session actually turned into a small party by the riverside (with a glass of champagne) and there was no doubt that the real party two weeks later is going to be as great as the rest of the day.

The day was a bit cloudy (and time to time rainy) but in the end, it is not that bad, because nobody has those dramatic shades on their faces during the ceremony. (Yes brides, no sun during the ceremony is almost always a big advantage!)

Eva, the bride, has an incredible sense for details. Just browse trough the gallery and be amazed by all the nice decorations! The whole day was generally perfect, and it might sound like a cliche, but I really felt like a friend. And I am really looking forward to meeting them soon again and re-celebrate their day when we chat over the photos and their photo book.

I just want to highlight few more things what made this wedding unique. Eva prepared the most perfectionistic wedding setup I’d ever seen. She has a pure sense of design and if she would like to, she could easily abandon her lawyer career and open her own boutique (probably with her mom as she was a big help too :)…).
Another nice touch was the duration of their couple session… For a very first time in my career, they wanted to have a couple session for almost two hours. (Yep, a lot of time! … but there are several nice locations close to the Yard Resort). Take your time… this wedding is really worth a look…
