Farm wedding

This one is from the beginning of May and it is one of the specials.
The bride and I first meet in a hospital when the fate joined us in one room, although Kacenka wasn’t a patient of our department.
I was recovering from a spinal surgery and that autumn wasn’t the happiest time of my life, but when Kacenka was transferred to my room, the whole experience turned into days with fun and laughter. We became friends almost immediately. We have met each other’s families and significant others, and became partners in hospital crime (from time to time we laughed so hard and loud that we would disturb the night).  But thanks to these days the hospital experience seems like a vacation thanks to Kacenka.

As we were chatting about everything I had no idea that I will be part of her wedding 6 months later. I knew she was dating Tom, a very special guy from France, I was seeing them together every day, and she spoke about the wedding, but that the wedding will happen so fast was a miracle. So we met again in January, this time for a wine and without our hospital gowns and messy hair, and started to plan the Day D.

The day turned out excellent and this is a wedding I will remember for a long time. Because I knew the most important people before, it was easy to blend in the crowd. Kacenka wore a blue floral crown and beautiful simple lace dress. They said their “I do” in May on an amazing farm close to Prague and the weather was just perfect. Some of the best moments were during a speech by Tom, who is incredibly talented for languages and he mastered Czech after two years in Prague (and everybody who heard about Czech knows that it is one of the hardest languages to learn). His speech made everyone laugh and cry at the same time. The day itself was perfectly relaxed and I enjoyed every single moment of it.
