Birthday wedding in Brno

11/5/17

It was beginning of May when my colleague Marketa Zelenkova from Brno gave me a quick phone call asking for help. She had broken her ankle and was not able to do a wedding photo shoot. I was available so I was happy to help.

On Thursday 11th of May I was on my way from Prague to Brno. I knew very little about this wedding, so I thought a lot about it during the long ride. But when I stepped into the bride’s room, I was surprised how well we fit together; typically the stage of booking the event and getting know each other usually takes months, but here it was a breeze. The bride and I are the same age and have the same nature. All it worked together. I loved the time when she was getting ready, her bridesmaids made it very special.

Their non-formal wedding and celebration in hotel Santander all took place outside and the weather was perfect for May. The company was thinking about the dogs as well. Two of their dogs were included in the “walking down the aisle” part of the ceremony. I especially loved their puppy – Welsh Corgi. He was biting the bride’s dress all the time.
The day was the celebration of their marriage and as well groom’s birthday – two celebrations in one.

And by the way…I was testing the Fuji x-pro 2 at this wedding. Review of the camera will come soon after this post. Meanwhile, you can guess what camera is every picture used in this gallery.
