Prague Wedding
The day started like a Hollywood movie. It was this kind of a day which starts with disaster but you know it will be have a happy ending.
When I was about to meet the bride, my phone rang and Pavlína told me. “I do not want to freak you out, but my mom and my wedding dress are stuck in an elevator and we are waiting for firemen to cut them out.” The only thought which appeared in my mind at that time was – What the hell is going on? I admired her calmness. I can’t imagine myself in the same situation. Thanks to the firemen they freed them soon and the ceremony was only a few minutes late.
Pavlína and Jakub chose to get married at a church of St. Tomas, which happens to be a place in the middle of a busy touristic part of town. Fortunately the complex also has a monastery and is big enough to keep wedding guests away from a modern world outside. The church is just around the corner from famous Charles bridge and secret gardens. All Perfect places to take wedding pictures. I wished for a sunny weather for that day but no, we were not lucky with weather. So from a cold church ceremony, we went out into a typical February afternoon and I tried to keep the bride and groom warm with walking and cuddling each other. Anyway, thumbs up guys, you both were awesome.
The reception place was Art & Event gallery on the rooftop of the Černá labuť shopping center. With a great view to Prague rooftops. Very nice place for a small company to celebrate a wedding. I Wish we had more like this in Prague!
