2012 – Project in Semifinal Adobe Design Achievement Award

The following project  HELL.cz is project photographed in between years 2009 and 2010. It was awarded in Canon Junior Award –  Czech Press Photo in November 2011. Later on in January 2012 was nominated into Joop Swaart Masterclass – World Press Photo. 

Authoress of this project want to capture life in (and around) tattoo and bodymodification Prague saloon HELL.cz. This subculture is very specific with alternative lifestyle and Hell´s members attitude to pain. Everybody from tha saloon is trying the body limits with hard body modifications such as implants, branding or skin suspension. They´re also making open workshops and lectures about these techniques.
